Firi is a Nordic cryptocurrency exchange, where you can sell and buy crypto, such as bitcoin, ethereum and cardano. Firi was founded by Thuc Tuan Hoang and Øyvind Kvanes in 2017, as they experienced the need for a local crypto exchange.
Thuc and Øyvind contacted the most talented people they knew in the tech industry and the team spent all of their free hours from 2018 to 2021 building together what is today the largest service for trading cryptocurrencies in the Nordic region.

Challenge
The main challenge was designing an engaging interface that could showcase a wide range of crypto-related content—without overwhelming users. With so much information to convey, the goal was to strike the right balance between inspiration and clarity, ensuring users felt informed and curious, not overloaded.
Solution & Results
To address this challenge, I designed an overview page that highlights the latest content and articles, ensuring that users can easily access fresh, relevant information. By organizing content into clear categories, I created a navigation system that allows users to quickly find topics that align with their interests, offering a personalized and efficient browsing experience.
